Each earring is ornamented with an articulating feature drop shape bead Colombian emerald, held to the upper portion via a tri-lobed bud style setting embellished with nine impressive pavé set Dutch cut diamonds. The pear-shaped drops each suspend from an articulating linear arrangement, incorporating a single oval-shaped natural pearl. The circular-shaped apex setting of each earring is comprised of an impressive button-shaped natural saltwater pearl encompassed with a domed yellow gold frame ornamented with five equidistant collet set eight-cut diamonds. These emerald and pearl earrings for pierced ears secure to the reverse with a yellow gold post and white gold hinged latch fastening; this latch provides added security and has been added later due to technological advancements.
