Antique Emerald Paste & Rose Cut Diamond Pin

Measuring approx. 2 3/8 x 1 1/16 inch, centering an emerald cut green paste stone measuring approx. 7.5x6mm, framed by thirty-eight Rose cut diamonds, ranging in size from 2x1mm to 6.5x4mm, fashioned in silver-topped 14k gold. Paste is an antique gemstone simulant made of glass. It can be colorless to simulate diamonds or colored to simulate gemstones. Paste jewelry reached it's height during the 18th and early 19th centuries when diamond and gemstone jewelry were very popular.
