Description These stunning, fine and impressive vintage earrings have been crafted in 18 carat yellow gold. Each cluster earring displays a stunning modern brilliant round cut feature diamond, six claw set in relief to the centre. Each of the feature diamonds is encircled by twelve pavé set modern brilliant round cut diamonds. These impressive vintage stud earrings for pierced ears secure to the reverse with a depressing fitment style fastening, providing a secure and comfortable fit; this style of fastening indicates the high quality of the pieces. The original yellow gold posts have been hallmarked with the French import mark (owl); this mark is used for finished articles brought into France to be examined by the French assay office. The diamond earrings fastenings are further hallmarked with the gold fineness mark (18K, 750), 'ALPA' and the fastening manufacturers mark 'MECAN'; one of the fastenings features the fineness 750 mark overstruck with the French eagle heads mark.
