Description This stunning 1930's antique emerald and diamond brooch has been crafted in 18 ct yellow gold, with a platinum setting. The brooch is comprised of an impressive and large yellow gold ribbed irregular oval toroid shape, accented with a platinum sporadic array emanating from the hole to the centre. The non-uniform array is embellished with nine impressive claw set marquise cut diamonds and fifteen stunning mixed fancy cut Colombian emeralds, totalling 6.07ct. The toroid shaped setting is interwoven with two curvilinear strands, incorporating forty-three channel set baguette cut diamonds; these strands bear the same alignment as the aforementioned emerald array. This large antique brooch secures to the reverse with a yellow gold hinged pin and safety clasp. This antique diamond and emerald brooch is fitted to the original hinged leatherette presentation case with a satin and velvet lined interior, securing with a push fit catch. This case retains the original outer card presentation box; this is an additional feature of the piece.
