4.81ct Sapphire and 1.26ct Diamond, 18ct Yellow Gold Cluster Ring - Antique French Circa 1930

Description This stunning, fine and impressive antique sapphire and diamond ring has been crafted in 18ct yellow gold. The pierced decorated, cluster design is ornamented with a central feature fourteen claw set oval mixed cut 4.81ct Ceylon blue sapphire . The sapphire is surrounded by fourteen individually claw set Old European round cut diamonds, totalling 1.26cts. The flared ring shoulders have a millegrain decorated, multi-stranded design and integrate with the main setting, melding with the shank. The ring is hallmarked to the outer surface of the shank with the French import mark for gold (owl); this mark is used for finished articles brought into France to be examined by the French assay office. This antique ring has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 18ct gold. This yellow gold antique sapphire ring is supplied with an IDGL diamond grading report card in addition to a sapphire report and certificate supplied by the Gemmological Certification Services, London*.
